Our Structured Enrolment Process
We ensure every student is set up for success through a thorough suitability assessment.
Student Suitability Statement
Enrolment is only confirmed after the suitability process is completed. Swiss Institute Australia is committed to ensuring that all students are enrolled in courses that are suitable for their needs, abilities, and career goals. This protects both you and us.
7-Step Enrolment Process
Our structured process ensures you're placed in the right course with appropriate support:
1 Initial Enquiry
Complete an enquiry form. We confirm you have the legal right to study in Australia and discuss your background and goals.
2 Pre-Training Review (PTR)
One-on-one consultation to assess background, experience, career goals, and suitability. Document: PTR form specific to your qualification.
3 LLN Assessment
Language, Literacy and Numeracy assessment to confirm ACSF level. SIT qualifications require ACSF Level 3-5 (depending on level). BSB qualifications require ACSF Level 4-5.
4 Suitability Outcome
Three possible outcomes: Approved (proceed to enrolment), Approved with Support (proceed with additional LLN or academic support), Not Suitable (guided to alternative pathway or provider).
5 Course and Pathway Selection
Based on your experience and goals, we recommend either Blended Delivery or RPL pathway. Individual Training Plan (ITP) created.
6 Enrolment Confirmation
Complete enrolment form, provide USI (Unique Student Identifier), pay initial fee (maximum $1,500 before commencement).
7 Orientation and Commencement
